Fillings
The most common restoration we perform are dental fillings. When decay takes over, Dr. Skari will remove the affected area of the tooth and restore it with a tooth-colored composite material. After curing, you’ll be able to use your teeth as you always have, with no restrictions on what to eat or drink. Our dental fillings are durable, strong, and perfectly safe. The treatment process is generally quick and simple, and we’ll have you back to your daily routine in no time. Stop decay from ruining your smile, ask us about our composite dental fillings.

Porcelain Inlays/Porcelain Onlays
If a traditional filling won’t work, due to the large size of the cavity or moderate amounts of decay, we may suggest inlay or onlay restorations. Crafted from high-quality porcelain, these restorations can strengthen the structural integrity of your tooth, and typically don’t need a dental crown for additional support. Inlays sit over the top biting surface of the tooth, up to the cusps, and onlays go a bit further by covering the cusps and the outer surface of the tooth. With our CEREC technology, we can craft your inlay or onlay restoration while you wait, which means fewer visits and a fully functional restoration quickly. Even if your tooth can’t accept a composite filling, we have options. Ask us if porcelain inlay/onlays are right for you.

Crowns/Bridges
Dental crowns are another common restoration, used to support teeth that have previously received a root canal or have been damaged due to decay or disease. Crowns are like little caps that fit over your tooth, and we ensure a perfect fit and a secure bond. First, we take impressions of your tooth, then we’ll craft a beautiful restoration of either porcelain or gold, depending on your situation.
Bridges are a replacement option for missing teeth that use dental crowns to anchor prosthetics. Replacing either a single tooth or a series of teeth, dental bridges are permanently fixed in place, aligning with your natural teeth. Our dental bridges are either metal-free or porcelain-fused-to-metal, depending on which best suits your situation. Your smile will look natural and complete, and you’ll be happy to show it off.

Partials/Dentures
If you are missing teeth, we offer dentures and partial dentures as replacement options. Partials are perfect for patients who have some healthy teeth remaining, and want to avoid these teeth from shifting. Partials are removable, held in place by metal clasps. We ensure a comfortable fit of your new prosthetics, and the replacement teeth will match your natural teeth, creating a seamless restoration.
For patients who are missing an entire arch of teeth, we can provide upper or lower full dentures. These full sets of prosthetics look completely natural and are held in place with natural suction. We’ll help you find the perfect fit, so you’ll be comfortable wearing your dentures when you speak or eat. You deserve a stunning complete smile, and our dentures and partials can create just that. We also offer implant-retained dentures!

Implants
Dental implants are the closest replacement option to your natural teeth, and they promote your oral health by simulating the root of the tooth and preventing your jaw bone from deteriorating. If you’re considering dental implants, we’ll be happy to discuss your options. We’ll refer you to a skilled oral surgeon for placement of the implant, and then we’ll craft a beautiful crown restoration to finish your implant. We also offer implant-retained dentures, which provide added security over traditional dentures. If you need a full set of teeth replaced, we may recommend All-on-4 implant restorations, which are fixed prosthetics that are supported on only 4 dental implants. Mini-implants are another option we provide, which are perfect for patients with less bone to support traditional implants.

Oral Surgery
Though we try to save your natural teeth whenever possible, there are some cases where a tooth may still need to be removed. We’ll review your situation carefully, and explain the benefits and risks of having a tooth extracted. If possible, we’ll perform your extraction in our office, otherwise we’ll refer you to a skilled oral surgeon. No matter what, your safety and comfort are always our top priority, so you know you’re in the best hands with the compassionate team and Dr. Skari. We’re always willing to answer any questions and discuss your concerns prior to surgery, and we’ll provide you with at-home and postoperative care instructions so you’ll have everything you need to heal and get back to smiling quickly.

Technology
Traditionally, getting a dental restoration would take multiple visits, as it requires acquiring impressions of your teeth and sending them to a lab to have the restoration created. However, with CEREC technology, we can eliminate the need for an outside dental lab, saving you time. Our CEREC equipment can craft high-quality ceramic restorations on site, meaning you can get the dental crown you need or an inlay or onlay restoration in just one visit. The impressions are taken digitally, so there’s less margin of error, creating perfect custom-fit restorations on the spot. Discover some of the ways our CEREC technology benefits our patients!
